Class was assigned to choose a tired furniture piece from stock to restore or modify. This 1980's Sears Rocking Horse was disassembled, removing all hardware and decor elements, and sanded down damaged wood. Cherry color stain and shellac was used to refinish the wood and was reassembled with stronger fasteners, adhesive, and remade decor elements.
